Pepe Verde is a historic restaurant that has always been a point of reference for the inhabitants of the Trieste district of Rome: families and friends from the area often meet in this restaurant with a welcoming, light and colorful atmosphere, to spend moments of common conviviality. The restyling project involved the environments accessible to customers and had the aim of giving new energy to the environments, without however distorting the characteristic mood of the restaurant.

Wall colors take up the pastel shades originally chosen by the owners of the restaurant. Wood is the main material of the new intervention. We find it both on the ceiling, in the paneling of slats, and on the walls, where it covers the portions of vases with natural plants inserted in the rooms. The indoor green elements, designed and realized with aromatic plants, including the green pepper one, are the most characterizing elements of the new intervention.
The new ceilings are made of wooden slats and sound-absorbing panels covered with a special fabric. It helps to implement the acoustic behavior of the rooms. Besides, it allows the maintenance thanks to the retractable portions in the textures of the materials.
